1996 Corsair f31
1996 Corsair f31
The Corsair F-31 is a direct descendant of Ian Farrier’s innovative folding-trimaran concept. Introduced in the early 1990s, it built on the success of the groundbreaking F-27, offering more interior volume, better offshore capability, and the same practical folding and trailering benefits. The F-31 remains one of the most influential production folding trimarans ever created, beloved for its fast yet accessible sailing experience.
Sailing Characteristics
Strong performance, especially off the wind.
Versatility—owners can weekend cruise, race in club events, or day-sail with family and friends.
The folding beams allow it to be hauled on a trailer, which means owners can store it on land (reducing slip fees) and explore distant cruising grounds without doing long sea passages.

I purchased Tri Me in the summer of 2021 and hauled her down from Olympia Washington with a big dream to be sailing multiple times a week and enjoying her with the family. Alas, the family has shown minimal interest and I don’t have enough time to make this dream happen. It’s just not the right time.
I have made some investments, as you can see below, and she’s in good condition, as just about the only time I have been able to spend on her is maintenance. She gets a regular good bath. She wants to sail and I’m holding her back.
I know it’s the right time for someone, and she can make your dreams come true. Send me a note and take a look. She might be right for you.
